APPLYING TO THE ACADEMY

Army and Navy Academy’s bold, diverse student body consists of young men who are ready to take the next step in discovering lifetime success. We assess every applicant through a lens of what they can bring to the Corps of Cadets, reviewing academic history, disciplinary disposition, desire to attend, and how the applicant presents himself in his student questionnaire and one-on-one admission interview.

Your student’s Academy journey begins with submitting an online application. You’ll be contacted by one of our Admissions Counselors, who will assist you in gathering important supporting documents so that we can assess your student for admission. These documents include:

SCHOOL DOCUMENTS
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
  • Student Questionnaire
  • Character Reference
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Copy of Immunization Records
  • Copy of Health Insurance Card (front and back)
  • Photo of Applicant
  • All Pertinent Legal Forms (divorce and custody documents, if applicable)
  • Therapy Practitioner Form (for applicants who have regularly or recently undergone therapy)

Shadow Days

The best way to experience what the Academy has to offer is to become a Warrior for a day. Your student is welcome to join us for a day of exciting classes and athletics, including breakfast and lunch at our dining hall. If you would be interested in a Shadow Day for your student, please contact your admissions counselor after submitting your application to the Academy.
